| Dear Host Family, I'm Myra, married and blessed with one child. I am applying for a position of caregiver in domestic setting where I will be able to utilize my skills and capabilities using my warm hearted nature and compassionate care. I am an energetic and self motivated person. I can be a great help to your family and flexible enough to understand the situation. I have grounded values. We were raised to be a God fearing, kind, and understanding person, to respect and love each member of the family and others. I can work with little supervision and can easily learn. I am adaptable and know how to manage my time. I am very trustworthy and responsible person who takes great pleasure in caregiving task.
I am currently working here in Taiwan as live-in caregiver since August 2011 to present. I am taking care of a 75 year old grandfather and only two of us live in his house. I respect and treat him like my own grandfather.. My work here involves personal care assistance like bathing, dressing and grooming, preparing nutricious food, marketing, medication reminders, accompanying him to all his appointments, massage to feel relaxed, doing all household task and running errands. He's my priority, I make sure that everything is well done and safe for him before I proceed to do my other duties. During my free time I talk to him and sing him a song to release his bordom inside the house and engage him in some activities like games and light exercise.
My hobbies and interest are reading, walking, biking, singing, and learning new things thru surfing the Internet. I love caring and playing with children. I also like pets like dogs and cats . If given a chance to be hired and work in your good home, I do my very best to meet all your expectations in my work.
