| I have worked overseas for nineteen years now as a nanny and domestic helper. I have two grown up kids who graduated with their degrees and I've been away from them to support their needs, sacrifice on our part but worth it since they grow up good and responsible. I love kids. I love taking care of their needs, and no matter how tired I am once I see them I smile - it is rewarding. My first experience working as a nanny was in Singapore looking after newborn until three years old. I mainly did the job as both parents were working. At the same time did the household chores like cleaning, laundry, cooking meals for the kids and do the grocery shopping once they were home. From then up to now that is my expertise I would say. I am good with kids to the extend that all of them became attached (love and respect)to me. Maybe because I not only feed, clean, give bath - I also have shown them my love and affection. I sing and dance with them during fun times, and discipline when it is needed. What my employers like most is I speak about a lot of things to the kids. Most of the babies I looked after they can talk and sing at the age of 2 properly and fluently. And when they got sick that is the time they would know how I love them because all throughout I was the one who took care of them. I can say from my own kids to 19 years of serving families I am more experienced when it comes to dealing with babies, toddlers, kids. I am honest, trustworthy, loyal, loving, caring and above all God fearing. |
