| Hi dear employers, I'm Michelle Cahapon and 31 years old. Filipino, a midwife by profession. I'm currently working in Singapore General Hospital as a healthcare assistant. I am assigned in Food Services Department which is we handle more on therapeutic patients diets. Even though, I love to be a caregiver so that I can use and share my knowledge and skills as a healthcare professional. Being here for almost six years now I can say I can help give balance diet and good nutrition for patients with therapeutic conditions. I may not have experience being a caregiver but through my work before as a assistant in ultrasound section in hospital I encountered a lot of patients and I was able to help them with love and compassion, not just for patients but for my friends and colleagues who all loved me and I could easily get along with them. For me, being a caregiver, it is not just an experience needed but it depends on an individual how to bring out the best in you not just to take care but to love and treat patients like your own family. Sometimes, I help my housemate also to send and fetch her daughter in school when she is working. I have a niece and a nephew from my cousin's side and love hanging out with them especially when I go home to Philippines. I really love kids. I'm a very patient person, loving and hardworking. I cannot promise everything, but for sure I can be one of the best caregivers. Hoping that through this I can find a good employer and reach my dreams. Thank you! |
