Duties and responsibilities: Perform housekeeping tasks such as cooking meals, cleaning and other household activities; Establish rapport and sense of trust with the employer; Provide direct care of children to optimize educational, enrichment and recreational activities; Give appropriate guidance and proper re-direction of a child if a behaviour problem arises; Assist with activities of daily living; Prioritize workload and multi-task according to changes in the day; Remain flexible with changing priorities and reassess situations as required; Perform various duties, such as preparing, serving and feeding meals to the children; bathing and dressing the children or assisting them bathe and dress themselves; Clarifying child care requirements with the employer, such as studying, food choices and medical conditions; Maintaining a safe environment by allowing only authorized persons near children; recording parent location; remaining vigilant of unusual persons or situations; creating a positive child care climate by preparing various activities, playing games, avoiding conflict situations and nurturing self-esteem; Do the laundry and tidy the children's room; Take the children out for walks, play games with them and keep a watchful eye while they are entertaining themselves to make sure they are safe. I am a loving, caring, intelligent, hard-working nanny and I would love to take care of your children!!! |
